Monitors/Sensors

UV Air & Surface Monitors, Sensors and Alarms

Validate that surfaces and equipment have received the desired amount of UV-C to inactivate harmful pathogens.

Principle of Operation: A portable, full-featured instrument that provides highly-accurate UV-C measurements in mJ/cm2. Sits upright, on back or side, and can be placed in supplied wall holder. Uses 1 AAA battery.

Application: Validate that surfaces and equipment have received the desired amount of UV-C to inactivate harmful pathogens.* Ideal for training staff, validating lamp output, and as an auditing tool. Recommended for use with every disinfection cycle. For use in hospitals/physician offices, commercial offices, homes, schools, gyms, hotels, restaurants, airports, trains, buses, casinos, grocery/retail stores, and more.

Installation Location: Use with our direct germicidal ultraviolet air and surface disinfection models, including Sanidyne®, Sani·Ray®, SaniLIGHT®, and Biolux®.

*Disclaimer: UV-C Dosimeters are intended as a visual reference of UV-C irradiation only and are not a substitute for microbiological testing to verify disinfection.

Install Remote Lamp Indicator with one, two, or four lamp ultraviolet fixtures

Principle of Operation: The SENTINEL® Lamp Operation Indicator monitors lamp operation of one, two, or four lamp ultraviolet fixtures and is equipped with a 25-foot connector cord. Additional 25-foot extensions are available.

The Remote Lamp Indicator can be configured for use with a wide variety of germicidal ultraviolet fixtures and will operate either 120 Volt 56/60 Hertz or 220-240 Volt 50/60 Hertz fixtures using either magnetic or electronic ballasts. The Remote Lamp Indicator mounts on a surface within 25’ of an ultraviolet unit. The wires and sensors of the SENTINEL® are connected to the fixtures through holes in the wall of the fixture. The sensors detect the flow of current from the lamps, activating the indicators on the face of the SENTINEL®. When a sensor does not detect a current, its corresponding indicator will not light. For use with various lines of air disinfection equipment.

Use UV-C Detector with air and surface disinfection models.

Principle of Operation: The ZenithUV-C Detector is a sensitive hand-held, self-contained battery operated ultraviolet meter that can be used for monitoring UV-C germicidal lamp intensity, aging, and measuring UV-C germicidal fixture leakage.

UV Water Monitors, Sensors and Alarms

View levels of germicidal ultraviolet energy that penetrates the quartz sleeves and water within the purifier.

Principle of Operation: Mounted directly or remotely, the GUARDIANDigital Ultraviolet Monitor visually indicates the level of germicidal ultraviolet energy that penetrates the quartz sleeve and water within the water purifier.

The GUARDIAN Digital Ultraviolet Monitor will detect reduction of ultraviolet levels due to fouling of the quartz sleeve or poor ultraviolet transmission. Color, turbidity, and organic or other impurities in the water can reduce or interfere with the transmission of ultraviolet rays. It will also detect lamp outage, component or power failure, and depreciation of the lamp output due to usage or other cause. The GUARDIANASSIST is designed to work with the GUARDIANDigital Ultraviolet Monitor by showing the intensity level displayed in a remote location. See GUARDIAN Digital Ultraviolet Monitor comparison chart.

Install on a ultraviolet water purifier for constant monitoring of the ballast and germicidal ultraviolet lamp operation.

Principle of Operation: The SENTRY Safety Sensor provides constant monitoring of the water purifier’s ballast and germicidal lamp operation to give an indication of ballast and germicidal lamp status. The SENTRYSafety Sensor is capable of operating an optional PromateAudio Alarm and/or PromateSolenoid Valve and a Promate™ Time Delay Mechanism.

Install this economical device that produces a high-pitched tone when a water purifier has stopped working due to power failure or lamp failure.

Principle of Operation: The device is battery operated and is positioned on top of the sight port plug of either a SANITRON® or MIGHTY★PURE® ultraviolet water purifier to sense the visible light output of the germicidal ultraviolet lamp (located inside the chamber of the water purifier).

Because it is battery operated, it will also indicate a lamp failure when the AC power to the water purifier is removed. The internal battery is a 9-volt Alkaline, which will last more than a year with normal operation. The audible sound consists of a high frequency tone which is pulsed at two or three cycles per second.
